Kalulu began his career at Monaco as a youth player before being promoted to the senior team. He made his debut for the club on March 6, 2015, in a match against FC Metz. He then went on to make 48 appearances for Monaco before moving to AC Milan in January 2019.
In his first season with AC Milan, Kalulu was part of the team that won the Serie A title.
