Defensive performance of Henrikh Mkhitaryan at Inter Milan

Henrikh Mkhitaryan's defensive performance at Inter Milan has been mixed, to say the least.

Mkhitaryan joined Inter in January 2019 from Arsenal for a fee of €25 million. He made his debut for the club on March 7, 2019, in a 4-0 loss against Lazio.

In his first season with Inter, Mkhitaryan struggled defensively, missing several key tackles and giving away several free kicks. His performances were criticized by fans and critics alike, and he was often seen as a liability in the midfield.

However, things seemed to improve for Mkhitaryan in the second half of the 2018-19 season. He started playing more aggressively and began taking more risks on defense,Football Domain Station which led to him making some crucial interceptions and blocks.

Despite this improvement, Mkhitaryan still had his moments of weakness. He missed several key tackles during the team's playoff match against Sassuolo in the Coppa Italia, leading to the team's elimination.

In the summer of 2019, Mkhitaryan was loaned out to Parma until the end of the season. During his time at Parma, he showed much better defensive form than what he had shown at Inter.

Overall, Mkhitaryan's defensive performance at Inter has been inconsistent. While he did show some promise when given the chance, he also made mistakes that cost his team points. It remains to be seen whether he can improve his defensive game and become a reliable player for Inter in the long run.
